Elizabeth Shick – Owner / Head Illustrator
Elizabeth Shick is originally from Palm Beach Gardens, FL, but has lived in Atlanta, GA since 1988. She graduated, summa cum laude, from U.G.A. with a degree in Scientific Illustration & went on to study Medical Illustration at the Medical College of GA.
She was the senior medical illustrator at MLI before opening her own company, Medical Visions, Inc. in 1991. She is one of the top medical legal illustrators in the country with extensive experience, personally producing over 10,000 exhibits which have helped attorneys obtain some of the highest verdicts & settlements in the country.
Elizabeth’s motto is “Do what you love & delegate everything else.”
Santiago Junca – Illustrator
Santiago Junca has been in the Atlanta area since 1997.
He received a Master of Science in Medical Illustration at Augusta University in 2016. His skills include medical illustration and animation.
At Augusta University he gained a firm foundation in the Health Sciences and a rigorous artistic training. This training emphasized scientific accuracy and the importance of creating a visual narrative that connects with the audience.
Santiago also enjoys drawing portraits and playing the drums.
Tracie Darnell – VP of Production
Tracie is a life long resident of Georgia; she has lived in different parts of Metro Atlanta. She has been with Medical Visions Inc. for 18 years, serving as the VP of Production. Tracie is the mother of 2 daughters and 1 son, and has been happily married for 32 years.
She loves to be outdoors whenever she can. You can find her traveling with her family or biking on the Silver Comet Trail along side her husband on the weekends.
Carmela Cirillo – Account Representative
Carmela Cirillo has been with Medical Visions since she was sixteen years old. She started with Data Entry and recently worked her way up to Marketing. She went to Kennesaw State University, starting as Pre-Med and then later switching to Linguistics with a Minor in Psychology. Carmela is a black belt in TaeKwonDo and spends her free time teaching self-defense classes. Carmela enjoys going out on the town to trendy restaurants and modern museums with her friends. Carmela is very interested in other cultures and languages and has high hopes of world travel in the future.
